Allison Floyd, Child Therapist in Bozeman, MT
Alli Floyd, PCLC
Children and Family Therapist
Hi, I’m Alli, a child and family therapist in Bozeman, Montana. I work with young children and their caregivers to support emotional regulation, behavior challenges, family stress, and stronger connection at home. My approach is warm, relational, and developmentally responsive, helping children feel safe enough to express themselves and grow.
Child and Family Therapy for Support and Connection
Many children experience big feelings that show up as overwhelm, meltdowns, anxiety, shutdowns, difficulty with transitions, or challenges with siblings and peers. In therapy, I focus on building trust and helping children feel seen, supported, and understood. I tailor sessions to each child’s developmental level and use engaging, age-appropriate approaches that help them communicate, build confidence, and practice new coping skills.
How I Help Children and Caregivers
I support children and families who may be struggling with:
emotional regulation
behavior challenges
family transitions
anxiety and stress
social difficulties
confidence and emotional awareness
caregiver-child connection
I also work closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process. Children do best when the important adults in their lives feel supported too, so I offer collaboration, practical guidance, and tools that help therapy carry over into daily life.
My Approach to Child Therapy
My work is attachment-based, relational, and family-focused. I believe meaningful change begins with connection. When children feel emotionally safe, they are better able to explore their experiences, build regulation skills, and strengthen their relationships. I meet each child where they are and create a supportive space where growth can happen at a pace that feels manageable and effective.
