Sarah Loux, LCPC
Individual Therapist
Hi, I’m Sarah Loux, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Montana and Washington with over a decade of experience as a mental health therapist. I specialize in helping individuals heal attachment wounds, navigate emotional challenges, and cultivate resilience and self-understanding. My work is deeply rooted in attachment science, offering a structured yet compassionate space for self-discovery, healing, and meaningful change.
Healing & Self-Discovery
Our early experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, regulate emotions, and move through the world. If you find yourself struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or recurring relational patterns, therapy can help you understand what is happening beneath the surface and gently shift these patterns.
Together, we’ll explore unresolved attachment wounds, family-of-origin dynamics, and internal barriers that may be affecting your well-being today. Therapy is a place to reclaim your authentic self—free from shame, self-criticism, and pressure to be someone you’re not. Through our work, you’ll build greater self-compassion, emotional clarity, and confidence, allowing you to move forward with increased steadiness and self-trust.
Individual Therapy Focus
I work with individuals who want to:
Better understand their emotional responses and internal patterns
Heal attachment-related wounds
Reduce anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt
Strengthen their relationship with themselves
Develop healthier emotional regulation and self-awareness
Therapeutic Approach
My approach integrates:
✔ Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) – Supporting emotional processing and secure attachment with self
✔ Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Helping clients understand and heal different parts of themselves
✔ Psychodynamic Therapy – Exploring deeper emotional patterns shaped by past experiences
I have completed advanced training in EFT, including Externship, Core Skills, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), allowing me to offer a specialized, attachment-focused approach to individual therapy.
About Me
Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking with my husband, practicing mindfulness and yoga, traveling, reading, and a good TV show. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep engagement into my sessions, creating a space where clients feel truly seen, understood, and supported.
If you’re ready to gain insight, heal, and build a stronger relationship with yourself, I invite you to reach out.
